An advisory board made up of professionals from therapeutic disciplines specializing in autism contributes advice to shape and guide our programming.
Kim Amos M.A., LSW
Kim has dedicated the past ten years to creating and improving programs in the areas of special education and autism. As a social worker and special education administrator, Kim offers advice in the area of family needs and desired support systems and resources.
Kathryn Anthony M.S. CCC-SLP/L
Kathryn was invited to be a member of the advisory board for her expertise in the area of speech and language. She provides an additional perspective for designing therapy methods and materials.
Brett Balduf - MSW
Brett is an assistant principal in the public school setting. Brett offers advice in the area of social and communication needs of students. Brett also has worked as a social worker which provides additional perspective into the social language demands of children and young adults.
Alyson Ludek MSW, LSW
Alyson has been working with children with autism for the past four years focusing on developing social language, skills and interactions. She contributes advice to BY YOUR SIDE to create activities and environments that encourage social interactions.
Frances Phillips – Mother of child with autism
Frances brings an invaluable perspective as a parent of a child with autism. She provides insight into the language and communication needs within the home environment and sibling interactions.
Natalie Ritzema OTR/L
As an occupational therapist working with children with autism for the past five years, Natalie brings advice and guidance in the area of integrating sensory activities and support into speech and language therapy activities and learning environment.
Amanda Schultz M.Ed.
Amanda is an assistant principal in the private school setting specialized in the area of autism. Prior to her current position, Amanda was a teacher to children with autism. Amanda brings a perspective as both teacher and administrator regarding the language and communication needs of children with autism.
